What’s your Zodiac sign?

Most people know their Zodiac sign according to their birth date, as well asZodiac signs and their body parts some personality traits that accompany the sign.  For example, my Zodiac sign is Virgo and characteristically, I am very detail-oriented, methodical in my task approach, strive for perfection, and a ‘worry-wart.’  In addition, daily horoscopes of the different Zodiac signs are usually found in local newspapers or via the internet for anyone wanting to closely follow their sign.

Sun sign and moon sign

Are you aware that we all have a sun sign and a moon sign which can beZodiac signs and their body parts completely different signs.  For example, my sun sign which controls my Zodiac personality is a Virgo, but my moon sign (“the second most important influence in your horoscope chart after the Sun” according to harpersbazaar.com) is a Libra.  In contrast, your moon sign is a reflection of your emotions and inner mood while your sun sign is strictly personality.

Zodiac signs and their body parts

Did you know that for every one of the 12 Zodiac signs (sun signs), thereZodiac signs and their body parts are corresponding body parts for each sign?  In turn, depending on what sign you are, these specific body parts are essentially ‘controlled’ by the intricacies of the sign.  In other words, you may be more inclined to suffer ailments in certain areas of your body as a result of your Zodiac sign.

The moon’s presence

In addition, when the moon is present in a particular Zodiac sign, the most Zodiac signs and their body partsvulnerable body parts congruent with the sign will be most accentuated.  For example, if your Zodiac sign is an Aries and the moon is in the vicinity, you will be predisposed to cranial issues such as migraines.  Fortunately, the moon’s duration in any given sign is only 2 – 3 days.  With that being said, during this time period, the sign’s specified body parts become more susceptible to ‘flare-ups’ and potential sickness.

Below is a chart representing each Zodiac sun sign, the affected body parts, and a few highlights of each.

Aries March 21 – April 19 The Head Involve themselves in friendly debate, could develop headaches.
Taurus April 20 – May 20 The Mouth, Neck, and Throat Enjoy music, may contend with diseases such as croup, strep throat, etc.
Gemini May 21 – June 21 The Arms, Hands, Lungs, and Shoulders Also, ruler of the nervous system; can be fidgety and anxious.
Cancer June 22 – July 22 The Breasts, Stomach, and Pancreas Issues with indigestion, excessive gas, etc. Zodiac sign with most motherly instinct.
Leo July 23 – August 22 The Heart, Back, and Spine The Zodiac sign representing love.  Be mindful of issues related to the heart – ex. angina and back – ex. curvature of the spine.
Virgo August 23 – September 22 The Abdomen to include the Intestines and Liver The Zodiac sign that gets a ‘gut reaction.’ For example, could contend with malnutrition or experience appendicitis.
Libra September 23 – October 22 The Kidneys and Adrenal Glands Known to have healthy-looking skin.  May suffer from ureter and voiding issues.
Scorpio October 23 – November 21 The Pelvis to include the Bladder and Genitals May have an enhanced sex drive.  Possible ailments are irregular menstrual cycles, enlarged prostate, and bladder polyps.
Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 The Hips and Thighs The Zodiac sign responsible for broken bones and possible sciatica issues.  Known for their attractive legs.
Capricorn December 22- January 19 The Lower Legs, Bones, and Joints Also, a ruler of teeth.  Should guard against bone injuries, most notably the knees.
Aquarius January 20 – February 18 The Ankles and Blood Circulation May have model-looking legs, but mindful of possibly developing varicose veins.  In addition, spraining the ankle or having Achilles heels could be issues.
Pisces February 19 – March 20 The Feet and Leg Muscles and Blood Circulation Enjoy having your feet touched.  Most notable concern – possible feet deformities.

      I found it be to fascinating that we all have a sun and a moon sign. Some people have the same sign for both, but some are different. I think there’s definitely something to be said for how we feel at times and its correlation to your sign.

  2. Enjoyed this article by Amy. So interesting that my zodiac sign is Sagittarius and I am susceptible to hip ailments. I had 2 hip replacements in my late 40s!
