Jack Lalanne’s 100th Anniversary Fusion Juicer Overview
Jack Lalanne’s 100th Anniversary Fusion Juicer is an excellent juicer for the newbie to juicing. In case you are unfamiliar, Jack Lalanne was a well-known body builder and promoter of healthy lifestyles. In fact, he was known as the “Father of FItness” and lived until he was the ripe-old age of 96. Therefore, with this juicer comes a history lesson into how one individual adopted healthy eating and lived a life of longevity.
As for all the included parts, this juicer comes with a base which contains a 800-watt, 2-speed motor and six other parts. The 800-watt motor falls within the acceptable range of 600 – 1000 watts for centrifugal motors. Although not the most powerful motor, the motor in this juicer is sufficient for juicing once or twice a day. Personally, I’ve never experienced a situation where I thought the juicer was going to overheat and just stop working. Naturally, you have to use your common sense when loading the chute with fruits and vegetables by removing any stems and/or seeds, as well as cutting them in half if their diameter is too big for the chute.
One of the other six included parts is an extra-large pulp container which sits behind the base. This pulp container is plenty big to hold all of the pulp left after the juice has been extracted from the fruits and vegetables. Not to mention, it’s quite easy to discard the pulp as you turn it upside down allowing the pulp to slide right out. The other key part to the juicer is the large juice pitcher which minimizes the chance of spilling or splattering as the juice is being extracted. The size of the pitcher (25 ounces) is a perfect amount for two people to have a large glass of juice at mealtime.
Cleaning your juicer’s six parts may be a tad tedious, but the more you do it, the better you get at it. I would advise rinsing each part right after juicing to cut down on the actual need to “scrub” every piece. Let’s face it – if there was a juicer that could clean itself, it probably would be astronomical in price!
In essence, if you’d like to start juicing and you don’t want to break the bank, this is the juicer for you! It’s very simple to put together and take apart and the price is great if you’re looking to “get your feet wet” in the world of juicing. Not to mention, you’re going to reap the benefits of all the vitamins and nutrients from fruits and vegetables without the hassle of cooking, chopping, or preparing food.
In conclusion, I would recommend Jack Lalanne’s 100th anniversary fusion juicer to anyone who’s new to juicing and struggles with finding ways to get their daily intake of fruits and vegetables. It’s quite simple to throw some fruits and vegetables into the juicer’s chute and save time by having everything you need in just a glass. Just juice and GRAB AND GO! You’ll feel amazing from the energy boost you’ll get from the glass, but also mentally, from knowing how good you’re treating your body!
