About Amy

Hi everyone, I am Amy and I have worked in healthcare for the last fifteen + years.  In addition, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration.  During this time, I’ve witnessed and cared for people with many different ailments and conditions in a hospital setting. Although not a physician by any stretch, I have seen firsthand the effects of modern medicine in diagnosing and treating disease.

Don’t get me wrong, modern medicine is extremely valuable in helping to ease symptoms of disease and ultimately (best case scenario) produce a cure. However, what if there was another way? A way that wouldn’t involve going to see a doctor as often and would equip you with the tools to treat your condition in the comfort of your own home. Or better yet, find the root cause and cure it in its entirety. Not to mention, you will be putting the purest substances into your body rather than drugs manufactured in a lab.

With this all being said, the reason I created this site was to help people like you and me discover natural methods of treating issues that affect us every day, as well as nurturing the mind, body, and spirit so you may live your best life ever! With the knowledge to combat issues like fatigue, stress, anxiety more naturally, you gain a sense of independence and empowerment.

Consequently, I ask if I ever touch upon anything that you’re highly intrigued about or have had first-hand experience with, you reach out to me with comments, questions, insight, etc. In my opinion, we are all here to learn and support one another through this journey.

So now to me and my journey to living my best life ever

I have struggled my whole life with being positive and treating my body as its own sanctuary. As a matter of fact, I have tried anti-depressants in the past and for most of my life, did not pay a lot of attention to the food I would put into my body. Ultimately, if you love yourself and make your health a priority, long-lasting health and happiness will follow suit.

I am currently 44 years old and beginning to feel the effects of middle age. For example, I find myself overly sensitive to certain foods which in turn, causes my abdomen to bloat and cramp up. Not to mention, I get extremely fatigued at times during the day, as well as fight off negative thoughts and feelings.

In my opinion, whatever issue you’re facing is not debilitating or the “end of the world.” Instead, consider it an opportunity to not only treat it holistically, but also, to put yourself on a positive track to ward off any future “hiccups” along your journey.

By no means am I an expert in the field of holistic health, however I do consider myself a life-long learner and have a desire to seek out knowledge for the mutual benefit of myself and others.  Think of it like this – when you go see a doctor, he/she will be practicing what’s called Allopathic (also known as the medicine of specialists.  In other words, doctors will segment the part of the body experiencing the problem and isolate it.  It’s analogous to taking your car to a mechanic to get the brakes fixed.  In contrast, the theory behind holistic treatment is that the cause and cure of all diseases have a direct correlation to what is going on within the body.

In conclusion, I’d like to invite you to join me on this journey of discovery and enlightenment as together we educate and learn to love ourselves.  Ultimately, as we nourish our emotional health, feelings of contentment take over our conscious mind.

If you ever need any feedback and support regarding your health, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and if I do not know the answer, I will do my best to find it for you!

Best of luck with your health and living your best life ever! Thank you for stopping in!About Amy
